I've spent 18 years designing products that professionals depend on — connected fitness platforms, aviation navigation software, AI-driven personalization systems, and the commerce experiences that turn curious visitors into long-term subscribers.I started as an individual contributor and have led large design organizations, but I've never stopped doing the work. Right now at Garmin I'm designing navigation interfaces for pilots — safety-critical, technically demanding, with zero tolerance for ambiguity. It's some of the most interesting design I've done.

Before Garmin I spent twelve years at iFIT, joining when the subscriber base was in the tens of thousands. I grew the design organization to fourteen people, shipped a unified design system across all hardware and software surfaces, launched an AI personalization engine that delivered 3x engagement, and redesigned the commerce and subscription experience that helped take the business to $420M ARR and 1.2M paid subscribers. I hold a U.S. patent for a real-time competitive ranking system I designed for live workout sessions.

The common thread across all of it is the same: curiosity about systems, and a belief that the best products are built by teams who genuinely care about the person on the other side of the screen.

When I'm not working I'm traveling with my wife and four kids, behind a camera, or finding any excuse to be near an airplane.
